Nowhere Kitchen
Pepe Dayaw started cooking leftovers in Madrid in 2012, and through this practice evolved a school of improvised cooking called Nowhere Kitchen. It is a platform that began informally and precariously in houses, by simply cooking with what is there, or what was found in people's fridges. This became a window to the privatised subconscious, an informal interrogation into the intimate lives of a public in crisis. Growing as a team in Berlin-based project space called Agora Collective, Nowhere Kitchen currently works by providing service and content to feed contexts where art tries to find sustainable forms within the everyday.
