Katie first joined Grassroot Soccer in 2013 as a Business Development Intern in Cape Town, South Africa. She was so inspired by the passion of her colleagues and the mission of the organization that she extended her time with GRS in Cape Town until transitioning into her current role in New York at the beginning of 2015. She first heard about GRS from attending a speech given by Tommy Clark and felt so strongly about the organization that she applied to the intern program that same week. Katie is originally from Sandy, Utah and graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA with a degree in Communication Studies.
