Since joining Ford of Europe in 1995 after earning a Mechanical Engineering degree from Brunel University London, Will Farrelly has been extensively involved in leading-edge consumer research, product innovation, and business strategy projects.

Since 2003, Will has taken a lead role in Ford of Europe’s product and concept innovation activities, developing and delivering new innovative technologies and features, innovative ‘white-space’ vehicle concepts and breakthrough digitally-enabled mobility services and business models – all of which are informed and inspired by changing customer expectations and societal trends.

Will is currently at the forefront of Ford Smart Mobility activities; leading the development of new mobility services, engaging digital user experiences, dynamic branding and marketing campaigns. Will truly values the power of diverse motivated project teams and individuals; discovering new insights, creating new exciting customer experiences, and delivering products and services that customers truly love and value.

With an Automotive Systems MSc from Loughborough University, Will combines his extensive innovation and creative management experience with a robust technical mind-set, and is inspired by his current role with the Ford global Smart Mobility team.
